This Saturday – January 30 – kicks off the first workshop in our garden training series. For those of you joining us, some things to think about:
- CHANGE of LOCATION: We will be meeting at Lake Shore Baptist Church, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Those who would like to work afterwards are invited to dig around at the Lake Shore Garden.
- Please fill out a BTB Registration Form and return them to Bethel. We’ll have a few copies available this weekend, but it helps to figure out numbers ahead of time.
- In order to conserve paper and reduce our costs, the Coalition is providing notebooks to workshop members for the purpose of note-taking throughout the entire training series. These notebooks are recycled from past years of after-school garden club – so they might have a doodle or two of plant paraphernalia. If you have your own preferred method of note-taking, you are invited to do what you do. Provided ahead of time for your convenience is Lucas’ Outline: “Purpose and Models” for this Saturday, which you can print off and bring with you.
- Don’t forget: there’ll be a potluck Q&A after the workshop. So please bring something we can all munch and share.
