Evaluating Beyond the Backyard Training Series.

As I attempt to revise the Urban Gardening Coalition’s programming, I am looking for feedback about the gardening workshop series, Beyond the Backyard.  We hope to continue the series – but with much more planning prior to the start of the series.  Please take the next moment or so and tell me what you think (even if you weren’t able to attend, your suggestions will be mightily appreciated).  Email responses to Bethel at vista@worldhungerrelief.org.

To refresh your memory of workshop offerings from the 2010 Series, check out the Training Timeline here.

  • Workshop Format:  I prefer:
    • more hands-on activities out in the garden.
    • more emphasis on classroom learning – I can work in the garden at home.
    • an even combination of hands-on and in-doors learning.
